Tell us your love story — how did you meet, when did you know they were the one? :
Aaron and I met just like a lot of modern day couples do - a dating app. We were interested in each other right away, and our first date at a local brewery followed a few days later. It was our first time meeting, and we literally ran to each other in the parking lot and collided into each others arms. In 2 weeks we professed our love to each other, and in 6 weeks we moved into our home together. 5 years later, we are engaged, have 3 cats, a beautiful home, and are more in love than ever. I started researching rings just months into our relationship. I found Point No Point studio by a lucky instagram search. I am originally from Washington State (and now live in Arizona), so in addition to the unique ring designs, it caught my attention that (at the time) the only location they had was in Snohomish. We flew to Washington and visited their Snohomish location to try on rings for the first time. We knew we found the jeweler for us. The customer service was top tier, and I fell in love with the unique kite cut rings. As the years went on, we decided to go to the La Jolla location to make sure we loved the ring we wanted. It was so fun seeing a new location and enjoying a fun getaway weekend on top of it. We tried on the ring that we ended up purchasing and knew it was “the one”. Then, on Christmas Day 2025, Aaron proposed to me in front of (most) of our close family members. Even though we had talked about the ring for years, seeing it in person felt absolutely magical. I look down at my hand every second of the day and feel like the luckiest woman alive that I found the man, and the ring, of my dreams.
Do you have any advice or tips for others planning a proposal?:
Soak up every magical moment that comes from your engagement. Be involved in the planning process, as it takes a lot of stress off of your fiancés shoulders who is tasked with buying the ring. You’re going to wear it forever, so why not make this a joint decision? Take the screenshots of your favorite rings, talk about it with your close friends, and dream away. Even when you’re involved in your own engagement, nothing can prepare your or beat the actual engagement itself. It’s a once in a lifetime moment - a brand new array of emotions will flood your body and soul. Soak it up!
Why did you choose a PNPS ring? What stood out to you?:
The ring designs were unlike anything I had ever seen before. I wanted a ring that was not common and that didn’t look like anyone else’s ring. I immediately fell in love with the kite cut stones for their sharp, elongated, unique shape. I loved the options of different metal colors, and also appreciated the flexibility and customization we could have with the final design. Also, the wedding bands are just as unique as the engagement rings themselves, which made me even more excited for the final product. Finally, I loved that our unique cad file will be saved so that when we buy the wedding band we are assured of an exact fit with the engagement ring. The whole experience start to finish has been amazing. I cannot wait to continue doing business with Point No Point Studio.
What has been the most memorable part of your engagement/wedding?:
The engagement process has been fun, especially since we started wedding planning. Getting our engagement photos has been the most memorable so far. To capture our love and our beautiful ring forever feels like a fairy tale. Our future children will be able to look back at their parent’s love story, and nothing warms my heart more.
