My love affair with jewelry began at a metalsmithing bench, surrounded by sterling silver, tools, and endless possibilities. Some of the very first pieces I made were sea glass rings, crafted from treasures I collected along the shores near Point No Point Lighthouse. As the oldest lighthouse in Washington State—and a place that has always felt like home—it seemed only fitting that it would inspire the name of my company. 

Nature has always been my greatest muse. Whether it's the colors found in a shoreline sunset, the textures of weathered driftwood, or the hidden beauty within a gemstone, I find myself constantly inspired by the natural world. Just as important, I believe in preserving that beauty, which is why environmental responsibility has remained a guiding principle throughout my work. 

For years, I focused on creating jewelry in sterling silver, happily losing myself in the process of making each piece by hand. But curiosity has a way of leading us to new adventures. Before long, I found myself captivated by precious gemstones, diamonds, and gold, eager to learn new techniques and expand my craft. In 2011, I founded Point No Point Studio, and I've been growing, learning, and creating ever since. 

Today, I specialize in jewelry crafted from recycled, non-newly mined gold and thoughtfully sourced gemstones and diamonds. I'm especially drawn to stones with unusual colors, distinctive shapes, and one-of-a-kind personalities. The quirks are often what make them beautiful. 

People often ask where my designs come from. The truth is, I'm endlessly fascinated by the stories hidden within natural gemstones and diamonds. Every stone has spent millions—or even billions—of years forming beneath the Earth's surface before eventually finding its way into a piece of jewelry. There's something wonderfully humbling about that journey. 

Designing engagement rings is, without question, my favorite part of what I do. I love creating pieces that celebrate unusual gemstones, unexpected details, and the individuality of the people who wear them. To me, an engagement ring should feel as unique as the love story behind it. 

And honestly, rings may always have my heart. There's something magical about creating a tiny piece of wearable art that lives on your hand—something you can admire while sipping your morning coffee, catch sparkling in the afternoon sun, and treasure for years to come.
