Tell us your love story — how did you meet, when did you know they were the one? :
Funny enough, we went to the same college, knew the same people, even went to the same parties, yet somehow, we never crossed paths. Years later, fate had other plans. When I started a new job, he just happened to be the team lead on the sales team, my new boss! From the start, there was something familiar about him, like I had known him all along. The “invisible string theory” is strong with this one. Many hangouts and late-night conversations later, I finally worked up the courage to admit I had a crush on him… only to find out he felt the same way. From that moment on, everything just clicked. He’s my twin flame, my person, my best friend. We truly complete each other. Now we share our little world with our cat, Jade, and our corgi, Percy — and life feels exactly how it’s supposed to.
Do you have any advice or tips for others planning a proposal?:
As far as actually proposing, just speak from your heart. So many people plan out a speech or spend more time thinking about what they're going to say instead of just being in the moment. This is a moment in time that I will replay in my head forever because I spoke from my heart and was in the now.
