Haili & Dylan: Their Secret Office Romance Was the Real Thing

Tell us your love story — how did you meet, when did you know they were the one? :
We met in college and worked at the same company, I knew he was the one immediately but workplace romance is frowned upon. He ended up being promoted and we had to keep it a secret until he was transferred to a different location. We then bought a house and rescued the perfect dog (Hughie). We went on an anniversary trip to Seattle and I said I found the cutest place to look at engagement rings *wink wink* and we looked at rings together and despite going in thinking Oval would be best we both fell in live with the Hexagon shape. Fast forward a few months and I was stalking PNP instagram and saw the salt & pepper hexagon diamond we liked in a ring, I knew it was supposed to be for me and we had our 4th year anniversary coming up soon. It did not happen then, or the next trip or the next. A YEAR LATER we went on an early anniversary trip to where we went to college (fell in love - Duluth, MN) and during one of the rainiest weekends he proposed during a hike on the beach. We love to collect rocks from each of our hikes and we have a jar for each year and he kept picking up rocks while on one knee to show me. My sister knew what was happening and kept yell-mouthing at him to get on with it until he said he found the prettiest one and showed me the ring. Easiest yes ever but neither of us could tell you what was said since we blacked out from happiness. Hughie was extra excited zooming around us as this was happening

Do you have any advice or tips for others planning a proposal?:
Do a lot of fake out trips! Makes it extra special when it ends up happening

Why did you choose a PNPS ring? What stood out to you?:
I always have loved a salt and pepper diamond but was never able to find any in Minnesota, going to Seattle and being helped by the best staff to make sure we both loved it was such an incredible experience

Everyone complimenting the ring and how unique it is!
