How did you and your partner meet?:
We met in West Seattle at Vidiot (a video game bar that no longer exists) playing Guitar Hero!
Describe the moment you knew they were The One.:
From the second we met, we felt an instant connection. We had so much in common, laughed harder than ever and knew we wanted to be in each others lives. I would say the moment I knew I wanted to marry Scott was the day he asked me to be his girlfriend. I had never been so genuinely happy and proud to be with a partner before. He made me feel safe, secure and adored.
Can you share the details of the proposal? :
Scott planned a surprise proposal with my three best friends about 6 months in advance. He reserved the treehouse airbnb in Redmond at the Emerald Forest! I couldn’t stop crying happy tears and hugged him before he could put the ring on!
How did you celebrate after the engagement?:
We popped champagne with my best friends, then shared a romantic evening in the trees after relaxing in the hot tub sharing a drink!
Do you have any advice or tips for others planning a proposal?:
Involve your partners friends! It was wonderful to have photos and videos taken by people you love and to share that joy in the actual moment
Could you share your experience with selecting and purchasing your engagement ring from Point No Point Studio? :
I told Scott I wanted a salt and pepper diamond and kite shape. He took my best friend and chose something he knew I’d love to look at and see every day. Something that matches my aesthetic perfectly!
What was the most memorable part of your wedding?:
We haven’t had it yet, but let the planning begin! We will have a destination wedding in Scotland at my family castle!
