Tell us your love story — how did you meet, when did you know they were the one? :
Katelyn and I met in chemistry class, (how ironic) during sophomore year of high school over 10 years ago. We sat next to each other, shared notes and worked on homework together. Our first date was a car ride out to a local beach where we quickly learned our shared music tastes. It was somewhere between her ability to rap the entire Ludacris part of “Yeah” and her way of making me laugh so effortlessly that made me fall in love with her. We’ve shared so many wonderful (and not so wonderful) memories. We traveled to Cabo in 2017 for our graduation celebration and shortly after getting back home is when I gave her a promise ring..I knew that one day she would be my wife. We had many talks of getting married and frankly, we were in no hurry since we knew we had all of the rest of our lives to spend together. We have come so far since that chemistry classroom- earned degrees, adopted 2 fur babies, purchased our first house and much more to come.
Do you have any advice or tips for others planning a proposal?:
Don’t rush it, don’t force the moment! You will know when it’s the right time. Don't rehearse lines or plan out something to say, it will all go out the window the moment you reach for the ring box!
Why did you choose a PNPS ring? What stood out to you?:
Choosing to go with PNPS was the best decision I made!! I wanted a ring just as unique and beautiful as my soon to be wife and PNPS delivered on this so amazingly. Having the ability to search through countless one of a kind loose stones in order to carefully select “the one” was so pivotal for me. When making one of the biggest decisions of my life, the staff were all so helpful and accommodating. The final result is absolutely stunning. When I opened that ring box for the first time it brought tears to my eyes because it was just as perfect as I had imagined and I KNEW she would love it.
What has been the most memorable part of your engagement/wedding?:
Getting to do our engagement photos at Bloedel Reserve was such a fun time and an amazing memory!
