How did you and your partner meet?
We were assigned to the same group in our year long senior project class in college!
Describe the moment you knew they were The One:
It sounds silly, but it was the day he shared a pint of Ben & Jerry's with me! One of our first nights together, we joked about how we don't share ice cream pints, so we should always plan on us both having our own pint. A few months later, I was at his house and he asked if I wanted to share some ice cream with him like it was no big deal 🥰
Can you share the details of the proposal?
My whole family was walking along the coast of Pismo Beach so we could "take our annual Christmas card photo". It was time for Kevin and I to get our picture together and that's when he pulled a ring out of his pocket and got down on one knee!
How did you celebrate after the engagement?
We went wine tasting with my family at my favorite place! We spent the evening by a fire with some of my best friends.
Do you have any advice or tips for others planning a proposal?
Know what your partner wants! Does she want to pick out the ring or be surprised? Does she want others there or an intimate moment with just you two? Plan what you know she will love!
