How did you and your partner meet?
We met one night in Edmonton, Alberta, both out with friends. As I walked by Ryan, admittedly a bit out of character, I couldn't help but notice him and thought he was cute. When he replied with his charming Aussie accent, I was hooked - and the rest, as they say, is history.
Describe the moment you knew they were The One.
There wasn't a specific moment, but rather an accumulation of feelings and experiences that made me realize Ryan was the one. He brought out a fun side of me and was truly a breath of fresh air. Over time, I just knew we were meant to be together.
Can you share the details of the proposal?
Ryan proposed during a weekend getaway in the mountains. After hiking 14km with our five-month-old baby in tow, Ryan got down on one knee. It was perfectly "us" - out adventuring, surrounded by nature and made even more special with our baby present
How did you celebrate after the engagement?
A skinny dip in a freezing cold alpine lake and popping a bottle of bubbly back at the lodge!

What was the most memorable part of your wedding?
Our wedding is coming up this July. and we are so excited to return to the location where Ryan proposed. It will be incredibly special to have both our Canadian and Australian families together, celebrating in a beautiful mountain setting that already holds such deep meaning for us.
