Tell us your love story — how did you meet, when did you know they were the one? :
Christian and I met in college at Georgia Tech when we both attended a mutual friend’s birthday party. We instantly liked each other, though I think he may have said no more than a few sentences to me the whole night because he was so shy. I told my mutual friend to drop some hints to Christian that I was interested. Our friend not so subtly told him that “Jackie told me to tell you to ask her out”. We’ve been together ever since. We graduated together, moved across the country TWICE in 4 years (GA to CA to FL), adopted two dogs together, bought our first home, then finally got engaged (with the help of PointNoPoint). He proposed in the secret garden of The Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island in Michigan.
Do you have any advice or tips for others planning a proposal?:
Make sure you have someone ready to take photos to capture the moment. BRING PRESS ON NAILS FOR YOUR PARTNER!!! They’ll likely want to take photos of the ring, and this way their nails can look pretty if they don’t already have them done.

What has been the most memorable part of your engagement/wedding?:
The night of the engagement, we stayed at a beautiful hotel on Mackinac Island and walked around the gardens and it was a special, private moment for the both of us. The next day, we took a ferry back and got to celebrate with our family.
