How did you and your partner meet?
Tyler and I met while working at the same AT&T store as salespeople.
Describe the moment you knew they were the ONE?
For my birthday, Tyler booked a getaway cabin in Oregon. The area had no cell signal at all, which gave us some serious scary movie vibes. However, being disconnected allowed us to enjoy various activities like playing board games and going for walks. We also had deep conversations about our future. When Tyler talked about his future, he included "we" in his plans, which made me realize how much he cared about me and was serious about our relationship.
Can you share the details of the proposal?
Tyler is terrible at keeping secret. Since we had already planned a trip to Japan to see my family, he suddenly mentioned that we were having a photoshoot. This was immediately suspicious because Tyler HATES taking photos. So, I knew something was up! Fast forward to the day of our photoshoot: we walked to Hibiya Park in Ginza, Tokyo. It was a beautiful, sunny day. We took some regular couple photos, and then he suddenly got on one knee and said something (I can’t even remember what). I ended up saying YES!
How did you celebrate the Engagement?
We celebrated in Ginza with my aunt and cousin, enjoying amazing Japanese food and delicious Sapporo beer.
Could you share your experience with selecting and purchasing your engagement ring from Point No Point Studio?
Tyler purchased my engagement ring because I told him I really liked the diamond. He also knew the setting I liked since I work at Point No Point Studio. I knew he wanted to propose, but I just didn’t know when.
