This is a very unique stone. It is a natural unenhanced or treated sapphire. This stone is considered a "bicolored" sapphire because multiple colors are present at the same time: purple, indigo and violet. The grow lines of this stone are what give it the color lines/bands. Sri Lankan sapphires are one of the few origins in the world that produce purple sapphires. Cut and faceted entirely by hand.
This unique color stone and unique shape make it a very rare find.
