How did you and your partner meet?
We met at a New Year's Eve party ringing in 2019!
Describe the moment you knew they were the One:
There wasn't one single moment that led us to know that we were meant for each other. It was small, mostly mundane moments that compounded over time. After we met, our lives started to intertwine naturally. Deciding to get married was the best and most natural decision either of us have ever made.
Can you share the details of the proposal?
AJ proposed to me on August 12, 2022. It was a Friday evening and we had just arrived at our camp site at Tahquamenon falls and decided to go out for a hike. I was so surprised when he got down on one knee in front of the lower falls!
How did you celebrate after the Engagement?
We spent the weekend exploring the upper Peninsula in our 1968 fan Camper. We visited Waterfalls, lighthouses, beaches, and fresh springs.
Could you share your experience with selecting and purchasing your engagement ring from Point No Point Studio?
I found Point No Point on Instagram shortly after i met AJ in 2019. I Immediately fell in love with the rings. In the spring of 2022, we traveled out to Washington to visit a friend and made a detour to try on Point No Point Studio's rings in person. I ended up making an album of all the rings I liked and shared it with AJ. The day I put my ring in the album, AJ knew right away that would be the ring he would propose with. He hid it in his guitar case for months leading up to our trip to the Upper Peninsula. I had no idea that he had this plan under wraps for so many months. The team at Point No Point studio was great to work with. When picking out my wedding band they drew up a CAD drawings to make sure that my Engagement ring and wedding band would fit together perfectly.
What was the most memorable part of your wedding?
We decided to cancel our 100+ person wedding and got married on the beach instead with 6 people in attendance. It was the perfect day and we stayed on the beach until sunset sitting around a bonfire. It was the best day ever!
