How did you and your partner meet?
I moved to Phoenix, AZ in June of 2023 and met Rachel a month later. We were both going to a professional event at a Phoenix Mercury game. We talked into the arena at the same time. She had no idea where she was going and followed me in. She introduced herself to me and we talked all night. We left the arena together and haven't left each other's side since.
Describe the moment you knew they were The One.
I truly knew from the moment I saw her. Before she made the decision to follow me to the right place, I saw her long before walking around the arena and never saw anyone so beautiful. Can you share the details of the proposal? : I proposed on Thanksgiving at her parent's house in front of her parents, my mom and my grandfather. My grandmother passed away earlier in the month, so it was a really special moment for all of us. How did you celebrate after the engagement?: We haven't had a chance to yet. Between transitioning through a new chapter with my family's loss and the holidays, we haven't had the chance. But we have the rest of our lives for that and some fun moments ahead.
Do you have any advice or tips for others planning a proposal?
Do the proposal that feels right, not the one that looks right. I was going to try to do something in the right place and with all the glam, but with everything going on, family and intimacy became so much more important. Doing It privately turned out to be the best thing for us.
Could you share your experience with selecting and purchasing your engagement ring from Point No Point Studio?
Working with Point no Point was absolutely amazing. My fiance wanted a unique gem instead of a traditional diamond and loved the brand. We went for purple sapphire since it is both of our favorite colors.
What was the most memorable part of your wedding?
